The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) President Mevlut Cavusoglu visited Norwegian Turkish Chamber of Commerce and made a speech in the meeting organized by the Norwegian Businessmen Association and Zaman Norway. In this meeting Norway`s leading businessmen, representatives of civil society organizations, Municipal council members of Oslo and Drammen came together. Cavusoglu gave information about his work period in PACE, then answered the questions of guests about the developments in Turkey and the interrelations between Europe and Turkey.
He also gave suggestions for Turkish businessmen by stressing the importance of moving together. Cavusoglu, “I see your coming together as associations operating in Norway is very vital step. For Turks living abroad, the country they live in should be their priority. Be well integrated in your country of residence, language and laws of this country should be learnt well. They will be extremely important in your both business life and social life.” said. “We, as Turkey are ready to assist you in your investments and in the process of getting citizenship of the country you reside. In this sense, there is no need to act shyly. According to your conditions do not hesitate to do whatever is needed” he added.
